Our Communications team includes a strong Telecoms practice. Our team has extensive commercial and regulatory experience in the areas of telecoms, radio, communications and broadcasting. We assist and advise clients on strategic alliances within the Communications sector.
We advise a range of new and established blue chip telecom, cable, broadcasting and radiocom clients as well as governmental and regulatory entities on legal, commercial and regulatory issues. We advise telecom (fixed and mobile) and radiocom operators, and their suppliers, on commercial agreements such as fixed/fixed and fixed/mobile interconnection agreements, outsourcing agreements on behalf of outsourcing companies and service providers, procurement and supply agreements, cable and ducting agreements, transmission agreements, network build agreements, service agreements, maintenance agreements, licensing agreements and capacity agreements.
We also advise operators, governments and regulators on regulatory policy and regulatory application such as interpretation of legislation, advice on licences (including making of applications), assistance in formulating policy and drafting new legislation, advising on interconnection, universal service, radio spectrum, DSL rollout, unbundling and competition law issues.
