Jack O’Farrell is a Consultant to, and was for more than 18 years a Partner in, A&L Goodbody’s Corporate Department. During his career he has specialised in public company takeovers and mergers, initial and secondary public offerings, venture capital transactions, corporate mergers and reorganisations and joint ventures. From 2004 to 2009, he was also Partner in charge of knowledge development for the Firm as a whole. Jack is also a member of the Business Law Committee of the Law Society of Ireland.
He has been recommended by a number of leading publications including most recently IFLR1000 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011; Chambers Global 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011; Who's Who Legal 2010 and 2011 and PLC Which Lawyer? 2008 and 2009.
Jack qualified as a solicitor in 1985 and holds a degree in Legal Science from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters Degree in law from Cambridge University in England.
