Eileen Roberts is a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. Her practice is both contentious and non-contentious and covers a wide variety of general commercial litigation including Court, arbitrations, mediations, Tribunal and Inquiry work. She has particular experience and expertise in large scale commercial disputes as well as insurance, pensions, financial services and property related disputes. Eileen also has an expertise in health care law and advises large hospitals and other healthcare providers. She was Head of the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department during the years 2007-2009.
Eileen has advised and acted for the Irish Parliament Select Committees on Members Interests of the Dáil and the Seanad, the Courts Service and the Law Society of Ireland as well as large corporates, multinationals and organisations from both the private and public sector.
Eileen is recommended in the area of dispute resolution in Best Lawyers 2010, Legal Experts Europe, Middle & East Africa 2011 and 2012, The Legal 500 2010 and Chambers Global where she "is widely admired by peers for her wonderfully tough litigation style" (Chambers Global 2011), is a “straight-talking, tough and pragmatic lawyer with outstanding communication skills” (Chambers Global 2010) and is praised for "being pragmatic and always focused on the solution" (Chambers Global 2009). Eileen is a CEDR accredited mediator and a Panel Mediator with CEDR Solve. She is also a director of the charity Junior Achievement/Young Enterprise Ireland Limited, and a committee member of the Irish Commercial Litigation Association.
