Margaret Stack is a Partner in the Corporate Department, specialising in insurance.
Her practice area covers the whole spectrum of non-contentious insurance and reinsurance regulation and transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, start-ups, captive insurance, reorganisations, cross-border operations, portfolio transfers, reinsurance structures and product development. Margaret also advises extensively on all aspects of insurance mediation.
Most recently Margaret has worked with the Zurich Insurance Group on the significant reorganisation and expansion of it's Irish operations; she is also part of the team advising BUPA on the sale of its Irish business to Quinn Group; and she advised the guarantors of the recent securitisation by Ballantyne Re plc of its reinsurance portfolio.
