Peter Stafford is Head of our Belfast office and is a member of the Corporate Department. He specialises in corporate finance work including public and private company acquisitions and disposals, management buy outs, private equity transactions, projects and commercial contracts.
Over the last few years Peter's work has included advising the following:
- Invest Northern Ireland on all areas of company and commercial law.
- Axereal Union de Cooperatives Agricoles on its acquisition of the malt business of Greencore Group.
- A global private equity consortium on its bid for Belfast City Airport.
- Crescent Capital on its investment in i-path diagnostics and Axis Three.
- The Viridian Growth Fund and the Nitech Growth Fund on their early stage equity investments in local startup companies including Fusion Antibodies, TraceAssured and Biomass CHP.
- Kelsius on recent funding rounds led by Enterprise Equity.
- Certus on its outsourcing service level agreement with Bank of Scotland (Ireland) and issues pertaining to its establishment in Northern Ireland.
