Associate - Construction

We are looking for ambitious solicitors who wish to specialise in construction law. They should be self-motivated, driven and enthusiastic. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience within a large or medium corporate law firm. They do not need to be construction law specialists, but must have a real interest in pursuing a career within the construction law sector. We are particularly looking for solicitors who may have relevant contentious/dispute resolution experience.

The Team

A&L Goodbody's Construction team works on Ireland's largest and most complex construction projects. We advise on project origination, mid-stream construction issues and dispute resolution. We are known for being collaborative and solution focused in our work. We help clients resolve disputes successfully by early advice and through mediation, conciliation, adjudication, arbitration and litigation. Our team is comprised of 16 staff (3 partners, 11 solicitors, one paralegal and one trainee). Our clients include some of the largest property developers and investors in the State, including IPUT, Marlet, Glenveagh Properties Plc, Cairn Properties Plc and Target Investment Opportunites (TIO). We also act for all of the tier one contractors, including Sisk, BAM, Hegarty, John Paul and Bennett Construction. Our team also advise on some of the most complex infrastructure projects in the State. For example, we are currently acting for Transport Infrastructure Ireland on MetroLink, the underground metro which will run from Charlemont in Dublin through to Dublin airport and on to Swords.
