Senior Associate - Pensions

A&L Goodbody's Pensions group is seeking to hire an experienced Pensions Senior Associate and would welcome expressions of interest from Solicitors with 5+ PQE who have a significant amount of experience advising on pensions matters.

Our Pensions group in A&L Goodbody is a market leader and one of the largest Pensions practices in Ireland. We provide Irish and international, private and public sector clients with expert advice and experienced direction on every aspect of occupational pension schemes and pension products.

The Pensions group’s diverse expertise facilitates fully integrated advice on all facets of pension issues. In addition to operational and best practice advisory work, the successful candidate would work closely with other legal areas within the Firm to advise on pension issues related to:

Mergers and acquisitions

Restructuring and insolvencies

Banking structures

Employment retirement policy and terminations

Data protection

Complaints to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman

High Court litigation and mediations

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years relevant PQE within a Large or Medium Corporate Law Firm in Ireland or the United Kingdom
• A high level of intelligence
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Strong team and collaborative skills
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• Strong managerial and supervisory skills and experience of overseeing and developing junior team members
