To track proposed European legislation use the ‘Law Making Procedures’ area of EUR-Lex and the European Parliament’s Legislative Observatory.
Legislative Procedures will help you to follow the life cycle of a legislative proposal from the moment it is launched until the final law is adopted.
The Legislative Observatory database was set up in 1994 as a tool to monitor the EU’s institutional decision-making process. Its particular focus is on the European Parliament’s role. You can track documents as they move through the European Parliament.
Both of the above websites/databases should be used as complementary services when tracking proposed European legislation.
Founding, amending and accession treaties.
Conventions, protocols and details of Member State signature and ratification.
