Acts and SIs, as enacted, from 1922 to date; selected pre-1922 legislation also available. Check for legislative amendments and commencement orders by clicking on the “Amendments, Commencements, SIs made under this Act” button.
The Iris Oifigiúil is published online every Tuesday & Friday. The site does not have a search button so you need to go to individual issues to check for new SIs.
Track the progress of Bills through the debates of the Dáil & Seanad from 1919 to date. Bills & explanatory memos are available in PDF format from 1997. Acts from 1922 to date are available but only in PDF format from 1992 to date.
The Rules of the Superior, District and Circuit Courts are available on the Courts Service website. Consolidated versions are not available but links to amendments are included within each Rule.
Case Law Ireland
Approved reserved judgments of the High and Supreme Courts from 2005 to date are available on the website of the Courts Service of Ireland.
BAILII - British and Irish Legal Information Institute
The British and Irish Legal Information Institute provides free access to legal information. You will find Irish case law from the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, the Court of Criminal Appeal, the High Court and also decisions of the Irish Competition Authority and the Information Commissioner Decisions
IRLII - Irish Legal Information Initiative
IRLII is the Irish Legal Information Initiative run by the School of Law, University College Cork. It was founded in September 2001 as part of UCC Law Faculty’s contribution to the BAILII project. It was relaunched in October 2019 and uses Twitter and links to the BAILII website to publish judgments of the Irish courts.
