The ranking reflects the strength, depth and expertise of our Corporate and M&A team, who continue to advise domestic and cross-border clients on a broad range of strategic and sponsor led transactions.
Key takeaways from the report on the M&A landscape:
- Ireland remains an active M&A market with 223 M&A deals in H1 2026, but this does represent a decrease of 17% (or 46 deals) from the same period last year
- there are fewer but larger transactions globally, indicating a market shift towards higher-value, more complex deals
- despite slower deal flow, globally, M&A value increased significantly (by 44% from the same period last year)
