Eileen McKendry-Gray is a Consultant in our Belfast office, advising clients on legal strategy, governance, and complex commercial matters. She has extensive experience both in private practice and in senior in-house roles, including acting as Group General Counsel, which gives her a strong understanding of client-side priorities and the practical considerations involved in engaging external legal advisers.

Eileen’s practice focuses on commercial contracts and business services, with particular expertise in intellectual property, technology, software, media, and creative industries. She advises on agency and distribution arrangements, product development and manufacturing, software development and SaaS agreements, branding, social media, IP licensing and cross-licensing (including data-driven projects), advertising arrangements, e-commerce, R&D collaborations, outsourcing, and corporate IP restructuring.

She provides strategic advice on trade mark and design protection, including registration, prosecution, defence, and enforcement before the UK, EU, and WIPO intellectual property registries, and regularly works with international counsel where required. Eileen also supports corporate transactions, investments, and restructurings where intellectual property is business-critical.
