Investigations

ALG has extensive experience in investigations within the Irish life sciences sector, representing many of the world’s foremost pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare organisations in their most complex and business-critical matters.

We combine the unrivalled experience of our dedicated investigations lawyers with the unrivalled sectoral expertise of our multi-disciplinary life sciences team who bring a deep understanding of the regulatory, commercial, and reputational challenges unique to the life sciences industry.

We are regularly instructed on high-profile and sensitive investigations involving regulatory authorities, statutory inquiries, and cross-border issues. Our experience spans the full lifecycle of investigations, from initial fact-finding and risk assessment through to engagement with regulators and enforcement agencies, and, where required, robust defence in subsequent proceedings.

Depending on the specific nature of the investigation or the regulators involved, we work seamlessly with colleagues across regulatory, product liability, employment, data protection, and dispute resolution to provide clients with comprehensive, integrated support. This is supported where necessary by the project management, technology and legal document review capabilities of our client service delivery group, ALG Solutions. Our approach is proactive, collaborative, and always tailored to the specific needs of each client and matter.
