What is the ALG5K Corporate Team Challenge?

The A&L Goodbody 5K Corporate Team Challenge is Dublin's largest corporate 5K challenge, which takes place on Tuesday 8 September 2026.

The aim of the ALG5K is to help Irish workforces stay active and healthy while also enjoying some social team building at a fun, safe, and supportive event.

This year, we are delighted to announce that you can once again register as part of a team or as an individual.

When and where will the 2026 ALG5K take place?

The 2026 ALG5K will take place on Dublin’s Docklands on Tuesday 8 September. The event will start at 7.45pm sharp.

Who can register?

Anyone over 18 years of age can register for the ALG5K.

What are the team categories?

The 2026 ALG5K invites corporate teams, family teams, sports club teams, or individual runners to take part and compete. Teams are made up of four runners, with team categories for male, female, and mixed.

Can I enter as an individual?

Yes, you can enter as an individual in any of the above races. Please note entries made as an individual will not count towards team prizes.

Who should I contact about bulk entries?

For bulk team entries of four or more teams, please email roadraces@athleticsireland.ie. You will be sent a short bulk entry form to fill out.

How much is it to register?

An early bird of €110 per team including t-shirts is available up until 17 May. Standard entry is €150 per team (+ booking fee) which includes your t-shirts and finish-line goodies.

Entry for an individual is €40 which includes the BRAND NEW ALG5K race t-shirt.

Are there prizes?

Yes, we will have sustainably made trophies for the first three teams in each category: Male, Female, and Mixed. We will also have spot prizes available during race week.

Can I get a refund on my entry?

Unfortunately, there are no refunds available once you have entered.

Where does my registration fee go?

The proceeds from the registration fee will be split between the event charity partner, Depaul Ireland, and Athletics Ireland’s youth athletics programmes.

Do I get a t-shirt?

All participants will receive the BRAND NEW ALG5K t-shirt!

When will I receive my t-shirt?

If you (or your company) have not chosen to have your race pack posted, you can collect your t-shirt and race number from The Spencer Hotel, Excise Walk, Dublin 1 on 7 or 8 September. Please note that t-shirts and race numbers for your entire team must be collected at the same time. One team member may collect them on behalf of the whole team.

Will there be finish line goodies?

Yes, we will have lots of goodies waiting for you at the finish line!

Where will we collect our race number?

Can I leave in a bag?

Yes, we will have a bag drop area available. Details of location and opening times will be released closer to the event. Please allow adequate time to drop off belongings before the run. All items left in the baggage area are left at your own risk, and event organisers cannot accept responsibility for any lost or damaged belongings. Please ensure you securely attach your bag tag to your bag. Your race bib number will include a detachable bag label for this purpose. Full details will be emailed to all participants closer to the event.

Can I support a charity?

This year, the event charity will be Depaul Ireland. Any proceeds made from the event will be split between Depaul Ireland and Athletics Ireland’s youth athletics programmes.

Is there a training plan?

Yes. Beginner, intermediate and advanced training plans are available above.

Where can I find the participant information booklet?

An information booklet will be emailed to all participants closer to the event.

Can I submit my time, and will there be a leaderboard?

You will not be required to submit your time for the live event as this will take place automatically when you cross the finish line at the live event. A live leaderboard will be available on the day. A link will be included in your participant booklet, which will be emailed to you race week, as well as being posted on social media.

How do we get to the venues?

Information will be included in your participant booklet. We encourage you to use public transport where possible.

Where can I see the results?

Over the event week, there will be a live leaderboard available to view. Details of where to find this will be emailed to you as well as being available on the event social media channels throughout the event week.

How are team results calculated?

Team results will be calculated by adding together the four team members' times. Team results will be under three categories: All Male, All Female, and Mixed.

Can I run for my club?

You can wear your club vest while running if you wish, but club membership is not required for this event. We encourage you to wear your ALG5K t-shirt.
