James Grennan, Partner and Head of ALG's Insurance & Reinsurance group, joined industry leaders and policymakers to moderate a session on "Ireland's Role in a Stronger Europe". Panelist’s included:
- Peadar Ó Broin, Head of Presidency Planning, Department of Finance
- Michael Mullan, Programme Lead: Climate-resilient Finance and Investment, OECD
- Regina Doherty, MEP
- Furio Pietribiasi, Chief Executive Officer, Mediolanum International Funds Ltd
- Dan O’Brien, Chief Economist at the Institute of International and European Affairs

James commented: “It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to exchange views on European and Irish competitiveness with senior representatives from the Department of Finance and the OECD, an MEP, a leading economist and senior industry leaders. Bringing those different perspectives together made for a timely and valuable discussion on the issues shaping Ireland’s business and financial services landscape.”
