ALG sponsors Irish Waste Conference
On 29 November, A&L Goodbody's Co-Head of Environmental & Planning Group Alison Fanagan presented to delegates attending the annual Irish Waste Management Conference in Croke Park. Over 400 delegates attended this year’s event, making it the largest waste management conference to take place in Ireland. The theme of this year’s conference was twofold – “What is waste?” and “Developing the Waste Market”. Alison spoke about a number of topical themes affecting the Irish waste management, including the structure of the waste collection market in Ireland, the current trends and the continued legal uncertainty as to what is or is not waste.
