Experience Advising:
- Extensive experience in advising some of the largest technology platforms in the world on all aspects of compliance with the GDPR.
- Extensive experience in managing large scale cyber incidents (including in regulated entities and guiding companies through engagement with the DPC and other regulators).
- Advising a range of clients on compliance with content regulation laws (including the DSA, the AVMSD, TCOR and the e-Evidence regime).
- Advising online platforms in regulatory investigations (primarily DPC and Coimisiún na Meán).

Professional activities
Chris has lectured on the Law Society of Ireland’s Certificate in Data Protection Practice course and its PPC1 course for trainee solicitors. Chris has also been invited to speak about the data protection and the GDPR in Stanford Law School, University College Cork and the Kings Inns. He occasionally publishes articles on legal matters relating to data protection and formerly sat on the Law Society of Ireland's eSignatures working group.
