Jamie Desmond is a senior associate in the Energy, Infrastructure & Natural Resources and Projects groups. He specialises in project development, construction and transactions with a specific focus on renewables and large infrastructure projects. Jamie has advised on various developments, financings and M&A transactions and on across technologies including wind, solar, BESS, biogas, district heating and electric vehicles, as well as on different procurement structures (EPC, PPPs etc.).

Jamie is experienced in drafting and negotiating FIDIC, NEC4, RIAI and other bespoke forms of contract, alongside ancillary documents. He also has experience working on the project financing and offtake arrangements for these projects and understands the key commercial drivers and interaction with project contracts.

Jamie trained and qualified with ALG and later spent three years working in an international law firm based in London advising on energy and infrastructure projects in the UK, Middle East and Africa.
