A&L Goodbody celebrates success at gradireland Graduate Recruitment Awards

A&L Goodbody has won the ‘Most Popular Graduate Recruiter in Law’ award at the gradireland Graduate Recruitment Awards last night.
On the night, ALG also received Silver awards in the following categories:
- Graduate Employer of the Year intake up to 40
- Best Candidate Application, Onboarding or Induction Experience
These awards reflect both strong student feedback and judge led assessment of the firm’s early career programmes.
The gradireland Graduate Recruitment Awards recognise employers that deliver high‑quality, inclusive and student‑centred experiences across attraction, recruitment, training and early‑career development. The awards are informed by extensive student insight and judge led assessment of programme design and outcomes.
ALG’s graduate programmes are designed to support trainees and interns at each stage of their early career, from outreach and internships through to traineeship and qualification. The firm places particular emphasis on meaningful work experience, access to mentoring and development, and clear communication throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
Partner Maria McElhinney, who, alongside Chris Comerford, Partner, has responsibility for ALG's Graduate Talent Programmes commented on the awards:
“These awards are a strong endorsement of the quality of our early career programmes. We are focused on providing a supportive and inclusive environment where our trainees and graduates can develop strong legal skills and gain meaningful experience, and this recognition reflects the commitment across the firm.”
