ALG advise EIB on its participation in the €330m project financing of the Higher Education Bundle 2 PPP
ALG advised the European Investment Bank (EIB) on its participation in the €330m project financing of the Higher Education Bundle 2 (HEB 2) Public Private Partnership (PPP). This project, developed by Invesis and delivered under the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science PPP programme, represents a significant milestone in the development of modern, state-of-the-art educational facilities across five higher education campuses:
- South East Technological University (SETU) Waterford
- Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) Limerick
- Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Donegal
- Atlantic Technological University (ATU) Galway
- South East Technological University (SETU) Carlow
Commenting on ALG’s involvement, David McElroy, Energy and Infrastructure partner said: "We are very pleased to have advised EIB on this financing and congratulate Invesis, EIB and the other lenders on the project AIB, Bank of Ireland and Rabobank on reaching financial close, a significant milestone for the project".
The ALG team was led by David McElroy and Robbie Nicholas with support from Lauralyne Flynn (Energy and Infrastructure).
