ALG is pleased to have advised Union Investment on its acquisition of the planned 8th Lock residential quarter in Dublin from developer Ballymore for circa €200m.
This deal is the first of its kind in the Irish market involving forward funding by an end investor, previously only forward purchase agreements have been made for residential projects.
The 8th Lock residential project comprises five blocks ranging between four and 13 storeys high, and is due to be completed between October 2023 and March 2025.
The ALG team was led by partners Stephen O'Riordan and Eamonn Gill, associate Sarah-Jane Caldwell and solicitor Karen Walsh.
