Digital Marketing Manager

A&L Goodbody (ALG) is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join its Business Development & Marketing team.

This exciting role will be responsible for the strategic direction of ALG's digital footprint and the management of digital communications. This is an opportunity to work with a top tier professional services firm and to drive the digitization of the brand. The individual will work closely with all other BD & Marketing team members and will report to the Head of Marketing.

Role and responsibilities
  • Plan and execute the firm's digital strategy across a range of digital channels
  • Manage ALG's website (design, content and user experience) and day to day web maintenance
  • Work with internal contributors to plan best practice digital activity including web, email and PPC advertising. Measure and report on the performance of these campaigns
  • Key liaison with external web development agency. Project manage all tasks and execute new developments
  • Optimize website for SEO as well as usability
  • Create, maintain, and implement digital marketing and editorial calendars
  • Maintain effective, cohesive, and engaging brand messaging and user journeys
  • Management of analytics using Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools. Analysis and production of reports
  • Oversee digital work from a junior team member. Develop their digital marketing knowledge
  • Management of the firmwide direct mail communications channel (client bulletins etc)
  • Report on direct mail campaigns
  • Client database custodian – comply with GDPR and oversee customised contact lists to support digital communications
Skills and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required
  • 7+ years’ experience in leading digital marketing activity in B2B business
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate a large number of small projects at the same time
  • Experience in marketing automation & integration of various systems and channels
  • Demonstrable experience in managing CMS systems, digital comms, social media and digital advertising campaigns
  • QA & UAT experience. Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Video platform management
  • Solid expertise in data analysis, using website analytics tools and experience in reporting and tracking on a variety of marketing channels
  • Creative thinker who is experienced in devising digital campaigns from concept to fruition that engage, inform and motivate
  • Problem solving capability, solution provider and strong executor
  • Extremely detail oriented and understands the need for high quality brand representation excellent customer journeys
  • Experience managing third party providers
  • Flexible approach to work, with an ability to multitask and work on own initiative in a busy environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent IT skills including: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint etc), CMS platforms, Google technologies and E-marketing platforms
  • Team player and positive attitude
  • Management experience of at least one direct report would be beneficial
