BDO UK historic merger with BDO Ireland LLP

ALG advised BDO UK on its historic merger with BDO Ireland LLP bringing together BDO Ireland's offices in Dublin and Limerick with BDO UK's existing 17 locations. It creates an international business with revenues of nearly €1.26bn, c. 8,500 people and c. 500 partners. We look forward to following their continued growth in the sector.  

ALG worked with Macfarlanes on this transaction. The ALG team was led by Richard Grey and Sarah Long (Corporate), alongside Caroline O'Byrne (Financial Regulation), Michael Doyle and Sheila Spokes (Employment), Mark Ellis and James Green (Technology), with Alan McCarthy and Peter Murphy (FDI and Competition). The core team worked alongside a wider team across multiple cross-disciplinary practice groups including Property, Tax and Pensions.
