With over a decade of experience advising companies in all industries with respect to all aspects of Irish corporate and international tax, Trevor specialises in tax controversy and advises multinational companies doing business in and from Ireland on their most complex and high-profile tax affairs.

Experience Advising:
- Developing and defending global and regional tax strategies for multinational companies.
- Resolving high-stakes domestic and cross-border tax disputes in various sectors, including complex transfer pricing and permanent establishment matters. In this area Trevor has, for example, advised multinational companies regarding State aid litigation and represented clients on tax authority audits and litigation before the Irish Tax Appeals Commission.
- Advising on tax matters related to innovation and intellectual property, cross-border financing, transfer pricing, supply chain restructurings, mergers, and Irish inbound and outbound investments.
- Advising on the impact of Irish and international tax policy developments, with a particular focus in recent years on OECD/Inclusive Framework Pillar Two rules and their implementation.
- Developing and negotiating advance pricing agreements (APAs) and mutual agreement procedures (MAPs) with competent authorities internationally, with a particular focus on the technology, pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.
- Advising on the interpretation and application of Ireland's double taxation agreements.
- Acting for multinational companies on the acquisition and integration of targets to expand their operations.

Professional activities
Trevor is a member of the Law Society of Ireland and the Irish Taxation Institute. He also sits on the global committee of the Young International Fiscal Association Network (YIN) and, separately, the Permanent Scientific Committee of the International Fiscal Association (IFA). Trevor regularly speaks at international tax conferences, contributes to tax publications and acts as an external examiner for the Irish Tax Institute's CTA qualification.
