ALG advises Akamai Technologies on its acquisition of Asavie Technologies

A&L Goodbody's Corporate M&A and Tax teams are pleased to have recently advised Nasdaq-listed Akamai Technologies on its acquisition of Irish tech company, Asavie Technologies. The ALG team was led by partners Ronan Lyons and Amelia O'Beirne, associates Andrea Hannon and Emma Hartnett, and solicitor Conor Maginn. The deal will bring Asavie’s mobile, internet of things (IoT) and security solutions under Akamai’s security and personalisation services product line.
 
This transaction is the latest example of ALG advising leading global tech companies on their strategic acquisitions of successful Irish businesses.
