HR Business Partner

The HR Business Partner (Talent Manager) will provide strategic, practical and thought leading HR support to the firm as part of a broader Talent team.

The successful candidate thrives in fast-paced and challenging environment and has a passion for building and refining processes and practices. He/she is strong in influencing and mentoring others, and builds strong relationships with leaders and employees.

Role and responsibilities
  • Partner with and advise the business on all things related to talent – from recruitment and selection, integration, performance management, development and engagement
  • Responsible for providing comprehensive proactive HR partnership to specified departments and their respective teams
  • Provide general HR support to all levels of staff in business areas
  • Anticipate issues and needs within the business areas and address these effectively
  • Carry out HR projects to support the HR strategy including those relating to risk, GDPR and D&I
  • Mentor and develop members of the Talent team
Skills and experience
  • The role is suited to a self-starter who can operate calmly under pressure, work effectively to deadlines and who is highly organised
  • The candidate will be a strong team player with excellent time influencing skills
  • He/she should have the ability to think strategically and execute flawlessly
  • He/she should have the ability to handle multiple tasks with tight overlapping deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills, confidence and a natural curiosity will also be key to success in the role
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years HR Advisory experience, preferably within a professional services environment
