ALG advised Elgin on its acquisition of the approximately 200MW Blackhall Solar Farm in County Meath from GP Joule. The project is one of the largest late-stage solar development opportunities in the Irish market. Elgin expects to invest approximately €200m in the development and construction of the project, reinforcing its commitment to Ireland's renewable energy sector and supporting the country's energy security and decarbonisation ambitions.

The ALG team was led by John Dallas and Darran Nangle, with support from Alexander Kenny, Sondos Siddiqi, Ross Murphy, Kristen Read, Siofra Heffernan, Kevin Murphy, Richard McLean and Jayne Adair, Philip McQueston and Cian Ryan.
