On 13 July 2021, the Gender Pay Gap Information Act was signed into law. Under the Act and regulations made under it, employers with 50 or more employees are required to publish details of the gender pay gap in their business by November each year.
From 6th April 2017 UK employers with more than 250 employees will be required to publish annual gender pay and bonus figures online and similar obligations are expected to come into force in Northern Ireland in June 2017
