ALG advise Danske Bank on a new €143m debt finance facility to find a major new solar farm

ALG advised Danske Bank Large Corporates & Institutions on a new €143m debt finance facility, for ILOS Energy to fund the construction of a major new solar farm project in Cork. The facility agreement will directly fund the construction of the 217MW solar farm project. When complete, the solar project is anticipated to produce enough renewable electricity to power around 39,000 homes.

The ALG team was led by David McElroy on project financing and John Dallas on project due diligence. The multi-disciplinary team included: David Fitzgerald (Real Estate), Alison Fanagan, Marika Williams (Environmental & Planning), Robbie Nicholas, Lachlan Muir, Lauralyne Flynn (Energy) and Darragh Noone (Tax).
