ALG advised Ørsted on the proposed divestment of its European onshore renewables business to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP). The cross-departmental team was led by Energy Partners Aisling O'Donoghue and Ross Moore, with Corporate M&A Partner Richard Marron. With a deal value of €1.44bn, the transaction marks a strategic milestone for Ørsted in its divestment programme and a significant acquisition by CIP of onshore wind, solar and BESS in Ireland and the broader European market.
