Merger Control

Our EU, Competition & Procurement team has significant experience of dealing with and resolving Irish and EU merger control issues. We work with clients to implement strategies to achieve successful outcomes by looking at the wider commercial legal and economic issues that transactions present. We also advise on other related regulatory aspects of acquisitions and joint ventures such as any media-related and sectoral regulatory issues as well as litigation-related matters regarding merger control.

Our extensive experience includes in-depth and practical knowledge of the current merger control processes and approaches of the Irish and EU regulators. That experience, built-up over 25 years, also enables us help co-ordinate multi-jurisdictional merger proceedings with advisers throughout the EU and world-wide. Some of our experience is unique in Ireland.
