Mark Traynor

Mark Traynor is a Partner in the Restructuring and Insolvency Group and also specialises in the areas of general commercial litigation and Corporate Criminal Offences.


Mark has acted for insolvency practitioners, companies and creditors in many recent insolvency matters, including the receivers of Companies in the Spencer Dock Development, the McInerney Group, Waterford Wedgwood Group, the Zoe Developments Group, Maplewood Developments, Setanta Sports, Olhausens Limited, Zavvi Retail (Ireland) Limited and the IPOS Pharmacy Group and has also advised NAMA on enforcement on certain large borrowers and has wide experience in liquidations, receiverships and examinerships as well as advising and working on formal and informal restructurings and reorganisations. 

Mark has been advising a range of credit institutions, and purchasers of loan portfolios, on the impact of the new Personal Insolvency Arrangements in Ireland.
