Ciara McLoughlin is a Partner in A&L Goodbody's Employment Group. Ciara provides strategic HR advice to international and domestic clients across all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. She has extensive experience working on large-scale change management projects (reorganisation, redundancy and outsourcing). Working closely with Boards, HR and inhouse legal teams. Ciara advises on general policy matters through to the management of specific individuals. She has excellent crisis management experience and has managed multi-jurisdictional workforce restructuring projects. A fluent German speaker, Ciara is a founding member of the firm's German Group.

Ciara is regularly invited to speak at conferences and has participated in numerous legal panel discussions both as panelist and moderator. Recent speaking engagements include the English Employment Lawyers Association Annual Conference and Global Aviation Leasing HR & Hiring Managers' Forum. She regularly provides employment law training to clients and boards. She co-authored the Irish section in Bloomsbury's recent book, Workforce Restructuring in Europe, and has written articles for a number of specialist legal and HR publications. Ciara is a member of the European Employment Lawyers' Association, Employment Lawyers Association of Ireland and also sits on the Law Society of Ireland's Employment and Equality Committee.
