Julian is the Managing Partner of A&L Goodbody, a full time executive role he has held since 2010. During this time, A&L Goodbody has focused on providing excellent client services through excellent people. This has included:

Prior to appointment as Managing Partner, Julian was a specialist M&A and Equity Capital Markets lawyer advising on many of the landmark Irish corporate deals. He was head of A&L Goodbody's London office between 2003 and 2010.

Julian is qualified as a solicitor in the Republic of Ireland and in Northern Ireland. He is rated as a leading lawyer in Chambers Global, IFLR1000, Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal.
For the last 6 years he has been is a member of the National Council of Ibec which is Ireland's largest employer representative organisation and is a director of Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, an impact-driven organisation that supports high-potential social entrepreneurs to tackle Ireland’s social problems more quickly and effectively.
In 2016 Julian was named "Ireland's Most Trusted Business Leader" by the Great Place to Work Institute.
